Dr. Luc Akakpo, PhD

Associate

Luc helps clients with start-up business matters, and he leads our grant research and application services. He also provides advice on international legal aspects. In the past 13 years, Luc has played different roles in support of education, including being a research assistant, teaching assistant, a lecturer, a teacher of multidisciplinary courses, and keynote speaker on children’s rights. He has published articles in peer review journals, and has completed book reviews.

Luc has shared his expertise on a volunteer basis with Care Canada, the Revue québécoise de droit international, and the Swiss League for Human Rights. Luc earned Merit Awards from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and the International Committee of the Red Cross. He is fluent in both English, French and some African languages, including Adja, Ewe and Mina.
